Like so many of you, we have spent the last several months learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our community. The top priority at Frontier Fun Center is the safety and well being of our guests and team members. Regardless of the environment, this is our top priority every day. We are actively monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. While we always strive for exceptionally high standards for cleanliness and safety, we have enhanced our already strict policies and procedures to include the following: • Reminding team members to wash their hands often and properly. We are talking to them about it, posting signage in team member areas, and providing additional hand sanitizer as well. • Providing even more cleaning and disinfectant supplies. We are increasing the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces in our facilities to include bowling balls, bowling shoes, furniture, touch screens, door handles, restrooms, and video games. • If a team member shows flu-like symptoms, they will be asked to seek medical attention and to remain at home until they are free of symptoms. • We are reinforcing training procedures to ensure cleaning processes are implemented properly including a new online training program developed specifically for bowling centers. • Providing sanitization wipes to those that wish to take extra precaution. • Playland will remain closed indefinitely until it is deemed safe to reopen activities that are difficult maintain the required 6 feet of social distancing. • In order to maintain a safe environment, all Frontier Fun Center employees and customers are required to wear masks while inside the facility, no exemptions.We remain committed to providing you and your family with a great guest experience and hope that these measures give you confidence that we are taking the necessary precautions in this evolving situation. To Our Valued Customers,
First of all, we would like to thank each and every one of our customers for being patient with us as we navigated these difficult and troubling times. Secondly, as a direct result of our aggressive actions to furlough employees and cut costs to assure that we could weather this unforeseen storm, we didn't live up to our normal standard of customer service. At times it was difficult to reach us and get the answers you were seeking. For that, we would like to apologize. We have learned a great deal during these times, and we know that we will come out stronger and more prepared for whats to come.
Now, the good news! As of today, we have been given the green light to reopen as part of phase two. Although technically we could reopen today, because of the short notice from the governor, it was impossible for us to accomplish that. Please know that we are just as excited and eager to open up as you are. We are working diligently to regroup our staff, get things around the facility in order, and be able to welcome our customers back to a clean and safe facility. Although we don't have a concrete reopen date planned, we are confident that we will be able to open the doors towards the end of next week. We will be contacting all of our league members at the begging of the week to notify them of the plan once we are able to open the doors. The plan will include things like how and when to gather prize money from last season, the options for the credit you may have had on your league account for weeks that were paid and not bowled, as well as an adjusted schedule for our Summer Leagues.
Although we wont be open to the public quite yet, beginning Monday of next week, we will have limited staff on-site to
answer phone calls and questions regarding our plans for the
coming weeks. We will also continue to update the website with more
detailed information regarding our reopen date and schedules for our
Summer Leagues as those things become solidified. Again, we cant thank you enough for all your continued support and understanding the last few months. Unfortunately, there was no playbook for the unprecedented pandemic that continues to impact our city, state and nation. We had no prior experience with something of this magnitude to learn from and grow. Although our actions did cause some confusion and even some frustration at times, we are very grateful that the choices we made and the continued support from our community will allow our business to reopen, thrive and continue to provide a great place for our community and surrounding neighbors to gather and be active. We are looking forward to seeing you all on the lanes very soon!
Frontier Fun Center
As we all
know by now, change seems to be the only constant during these difficult times.
As these changes are issued by our governing bodies, we will do our best to
keep you informed on how our business is impacted. The health and safety of our
customers, staff, and our community continues to be our top priority. As some
of you know, the initial plan requiring us to be closed for four weeks was extended
until May 1st by Governor Sisolak.
We know a lot of you may have questions
about our plans moving forward regarding our leagues. The uncertainty of when
we are going to be able to reopen our doors makes it difficult to have a
concrete plan in place at this time. However, there are several options that we
will explore once there is a more stable timetable in place. Although we have
yet to make decisions on specifics, we wanted to make it clear that we will NOT
be charging our bowlers for weeks that weren’t bowled due to the closure. Once
a concrete decision is made regarding the future of the current leagues, we
will credit our bowlers any remaining balance via refund or apply the credit to
a future league (Summer 2020 or Fall/Winter 2020-21).
Although this extension requires us
to remain closed for all customer related activities, we still have limited staff
working on projects throughout the facility. Other staff members will be working remotely
for the remainder of the COVID-19 related closure, managing the needs of our
customers via email. As always, we are here for you during these unprecedented
